The message ‘Let your feet talk’ takes me back to my younger days because it was something my dad would say especially before the big football match. I never realized how recently that message has affected me in all areas of my life. Primarily, it is about knowing the state of life and your worth, which is important for all of us.
In our football changing room before a match, we had a lot of different personalities – players who used to make others laugh, start banquets or tell coaches how good they were. They may question the coach’s decision as to why he was replaced.
Personally, I was the captain for most of the teams I played for, but also one of the quietest in the changing room. Perhaps a different way of leading for example – make sure my shirt was tucked in and the sleeves rolled up. Then, when we crossed the white line, it was like a switch and I turned into a different animal.
As long as I was quietly convinced and trusting myself to come through the talent, I cannot deny that I had occasionally seen those players and thought, ‘I wish I could stand up and say Would be confidentLook, I’m good ‘ or “I am the best.”
I can definitely see what kind of personality people should have in their faces – figuratively speaking now, can initially put people on the front foot and leave you feeling like they are better than you. Psychologically, if you are coming back from an injury or experiencing trials and tribulations on a new team, those people who were able to make it big ‘I am ‘ Very likely there will be little ahead, listen to more and more, get more opportunities – even if there is no substance to their claims.
Then, the doubt may kick in – ‘Am I really as good as I believe that is the case … I don’t trust myself as much as I used to? ‘ Perhaps you can relate to this in one area of your life?
Various changing rooms
So, moving away from football now, what if we have implemented the concept of changing room in our normal life? We can call it ‘Life Changing Room, Business Changing Room, Relationship Changing Room or Social Media Changing Room. We can say it whatever we want!
In our Business changing room – What if we have a product that we know will be so useful, better than others’ products, and will have so much impact on people?
In our social media changing room – What if other people have more ‘friends’ who are ready to share our stories, their thoughts or their progress and so many more followers who like and share things related to their post than ours or Are people
In Career Changing Room – What if we are producing stuff behind the scenes and working so hard to please the boss so that we can work towards that publicity? However, our allies always jump by saying ‘See how hard i’m working And consequently is seen more with admiration.
This is where the meaning of ‘Let your feet talk ‘ Takes a new meaning and becomes really influential – and it certainly is for me.
In truth, there will always be times when we see People are being more confident And we beat the drum more than their capacity. We will see that other people are telling the world that they can do this. We will see others wanting to showcase their information or their products. We even see someone who wants to impress in such a way that you will only bother doing.
There is absolutely no judgment on the people who do this – it is completely fine. I need to do this in my life and certainly in my business. However, if this does not seem to be the most natural way of achieving things, then it is fine too!
in my opinion, ‘Your feet are talking ‘ These include:
- A solid foundation – just to know yourself and where you are coming from and you are happy with it
- Knowing your position – not that you are better than the next person, but rather that you are equal to all the people around you
- Self-confidence, self-reliance, knowing your worth, And trust yourself
- Despite believing in your ability, what others tell you or what you hear about others says about themselves
- Knowledge of whoever you are and whoever you are, will shine in the end
There is so much more ‘Your feet are talking. ‘ Perhaps however it is worth considering that the aspects I have mentioned are the things with which we are born. We are naturally confident, we naturally believe in our own ability, we naturally trust ourselves. They are our homebase starting locations. They are our natural condition and to believe otherwise we have gone away from our natural welfare for some reason.
for example, We are comparing ourselves Against others; We are coming back from injury and doubting ourselves to perform at the same level that we know we can; We have not achieved our pressing goals; Or someone told us This or that can’t.
If this happens, we can always remember that we have got this far, we must have been successful in our own way, we have made it to this point and we have always achieved ourselves. By coming back to homebase and knowing ourselves as we do, we can always just come back ‘Our feet are talking. ‘
