Everything in life emits sound and energy. From your exhausted sighs from a long day’s work, to the cicadas attacking your ears just before you go to sleep, the tremors you feel are really wide-ranging. Of course, needless to say, these vibrations can also change the way you feel about things in general.
For example, you may notice that your vibe with others changes depending on how your conversations work. If you’ve ever been given a stinky eye by someone especially angry at you, you know how it feels: It’s terrifying, and can really ruin your day.
On the other hand, if you’ve ever been attracted to work by a positive person, you also know how positive their influence is on you. It’s not much in the grand scheme of things, but just the happy smile of a cheerful colleague can really help you with your personal problems.
Thus, the value of vibration cannot be underestimated. With positive vibes, you can influence not only yourself, but also the people around you to be better and feel better.
#1: Approach situations calmly
Too often, the reason we have negativity is because we completely let our emotions take over. The result is that you are less inclined to think positively, as your stress and anger are slowly distorting your judgment. As a result, you need to think clearly about stressful situations.
Now, before anything else, you should remember that no matter how stressful your situation, there is always room for you to think and act. Don’t let the pressure overwhelm you, and instead think about the benefits that your circumstances offer you. For example, you may not have a lot of time, but you have the skills to do the job.
Also remember not to take your anger out on the people around you. If you really want to let yourself go, take a short breath and do some exercise, even a spiritual one. Hopefully this will relieve some of the stress from your body. Once it’s over, approach the problem with a fresh approach, and you’ll prevail over time.
#2: Appreciate the Value of Silence
When you are out there, there is always pressure on your part to do something. Whether it’s talking to strangers or just being normal around them, you’re always forced to do something drastic by some outside pressure. However, what you need to understand is that sometimes, you don’t need to have a conversation.
In fact, you may even need to distance yourself from people and just appreciate the silence. Now, this doesn’t mean you can just shut up whenever you want, but if there’s time for it, seize it by calming down and meditating fully. You can either meditate in complete silence, or you can debate in your mind your next steps in the future.
Once you master the art of being silent and calm, you will only be able to emit positive vibes while having a positive mindset. You will no longer feel outside pressure from society, and people will look at you more favorably, knowing that you are silent for the sake of authenticity.
“If you want to discover the mysteries of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.” – Nikola Tesla
#3: Forgive the Past
Too often, the reason why people are not able to emit positive vibes, let alone bringing them on a high frequency, has to do with the fact that they are not able to let go of their past. For example, you might not be inclined to entertain romance at the moment because of your past pain.
And while you’re totally justified in being angry and hurt by what happened at the time, know that holding onto that anger for too long may not be a good idea. This is because your pain may only extend to others, and you may not be willing to treat them well.
This then causes a terrible spread of negative vibes. At the workplace, it can harm your ability to socialize and work with your peers. On a personal level, it keeps you from appreciating the present and the future alike, taking the fun out of life, and making you feel endlessly unhappy.
Thus, it is easy to understand why forgiving the past does so much for your vibes. It forces change inward, which then makes you better.
#4: Give Yourself a Little Love
This is probably the most important thing you can do for yourself. When you underestimate your true potential or don’t give yourself enough credit, it undermines your ability to show your potential in front of other people. Suffice it to say, the most effective way to increase your vibrancy is to project it.
So projecting that same vibrancy means you have to believe in yourself. It’s easy enough to hate yourself and not be self-confident, and it’s still easier to do so because people have the misconception that being self-confident means being selfish or arrogant. However, this is really just a downside at its peak.
To be truly positive, you have to believe in yourself and believe in what you can do. It may seem difficult at first, but when you get over it, you will start to see changes. Moreover, it will make you better at what you do and present that improvement to your co-workers and friends.
Thus, you will not improvise alone; You will send positivity to other people as well.
